Butterfly
I was commissioned to create a piece of artwork to display the beautiful Blackwater Coach AirBnB accommodation in Ballysaggart Co. Waterford.
Given free reign for the design I chose to create a butterfly to tie in with the Coach’s magnificent location surrounded by nature at the foothills of the Knockmealdown mountains.
This piece was all handmade from mild steel with stainless steel detailing and was installed on a pre-existing tree stump which I carved on site to accommodate the finished piece,
The Blackwater butterfly now takes pride of place at this charming AirB&B where it’s enjoyed by guests from near and far.
